spending $75.25 mil for 5 years for BJ, and $38.5 mil for 3 years for Justin on an already tight budget doesn't look like spending money? Yeah losing chipper frees up a good chunk of cash but it seems like we're replacing players with more expensive alternatives without a major budget increase

This. The guy is 25 and has more upside than 99% of the players in the majors. He's already had two incredible seasons. And the Braves got him without giving up any of there top 5 prospects. WTF are Braves fans bitching about?

I think that is a legit concern and I expect his numbers to drop in Atl.
He is a speed guy and the Dback's park is a GREAT hitters park. Easily one of the top 3 in baseball and #1 on some lists. For a speedy guy like Upton playing in Arizona maybe even greater than playing at Coors.
