well, Butler sure blew it tonight. They ain't gonna be a 4 seed. Green Bay hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn until them.

On another note, I feel bad for St. mary's. Without Mills for a month, they might be taken completely out of NCAA contention. University of Portland destroyed a couple days back. Completely different team

Yea...hopefully they get him back for conf tourney and make a run and win the thing. I think they're a damn strong ballclub. Injuries can ruin a season - just one. Right now, I got the Zags mauling through conference play and getting an auto bid. I just moved them to a 4 seed.

The Zags had a rough stretch in there including losing to Portland State at home, but they are playing really well right now. They've shown they have the talent to play with anyone

Yep...I'd love to see them make a final 4. I like Mark Few and how he runs his ship.

Hopin for that matchup.

I org had Memphis in the south region until I learned that the Sweet 16 is gonna be at the Pyramids. So, took em out.

Oh, yeah....they play Saturday...yeah, nice matchup. And if they meet in the tourney. Memphis mauled through last year's tourney bc they played a lot of other athletic teams and they just matched up well...but a team like the Zags could perplex them and slip up on em.

Like UCLA? This team is totally different tho, they aren't explosive offensively but shoot FT's and defend alright. Sweet 16 is probably the best to hope for.

I just think I rated them a bit high. WHat are they doing that makes them a 4 in your opinion...or are you just asking why I switched? Think of '06 LSU, who was a 4 seed. Does this KU team seem on that level?

I switched them with Memphis, b/c right now, I think Memphis and the other 4 seeds are better. That could change. Meanwhile, they play Iowa States and Colorados twice. Also, Baylor is very much like ND and Georgetown are right now - slipping fast.

So, basically they are the opposite of last season? They were a POOR FT shooting team lasdt year - only Achille's heel.

yeah pretty much the exact opposite, finding enough offense down the stretch in tourney games is going to be tough

i was pretty much just asking why they switched, which you answered. i agree with about a 5 or 6 now, but honestly believe theyll end up with about a 4.

Kansas is probably going to be anywhere from a 4-6. 3 if they somehow win the Big 12 tourney.
I think they like the position they're in...former champs, being awful quiet and no one talking much about them. They'll be a problem for just about anyone they play. I think 5 or 6 is about right. They beat Baylor, but I believe Auburn would give Baylora good game right now.

agreed on most of that. except barring a collapse, they should not fall below a 5.

The Big 12 has potential to get as many teams as the Big East depending how things play out. If Georgetown drops 2/3 and Providence and WVU slack off, you could see the BIg 12 get the most.

Locks: OU, Texas, Kansas, Missouri
Likely: Texas A&M
Still alive, but major bubble: Kansas State, Baylor, Nebraska, Oklahoma State
