They're gonna blow it with this. Parking was turrible, food is like 2 days old with 50+ people in line...no hype music. It's more of a carnival event than a sporting event.
They need 2x the concessions stands with 2x the workers. Main score board over head doesn't work, only one screen in the whole arena. No immersion in here

So far better hockey than last game. I would think that when the team comes they will have better staff, permanent seating and amenities.

Agreed. So far concessions have been out of basically everything by end of first period, bathroom situation sucks and in-game atmosphere/entertainment between stoppages sucks.
Not how I remember the Kingfish games of old. Hopefully they step it up big time when a permanent team arrives.

I’m here. This is awesome. My first hockey game. I have no idea what’s going on with fouls and penalties but the action is great. So much better than gay arse soccer with all the flopping. Ain’t no pussies out there on that ice.

So all FPHL games are broadcast for free on YouTube which is awesome.
During the first intermission they had Barry Soskin on for an interview and he believes they are in the closing phases of negotiation. He said an announcement on a new Baton Rouge hockey franchise could come as soon as 3-4 weeks from now.

Yeah they emptied the net the last 2 minutes and gave up a final goal to make it 6-4. There was a decent scuffle that broke out then Pace#13 found someone willing to scrap and they had a sick 45 second + fight. Blew kisses to the crowd after he knocked him down

We sat in 112 just above the penalty box. The Prowlers C came into it saying “I didn’t need to do that.”
When I barked at him a bit he said, “7700 people came to see that, so I did it.”
I think there is a sense that hockey is coming to BR, and thank you to 84 for that

On another note, are there not actual coaches? Didn’t notice any on either bench. Or do all the teams have player/coach situations?

I know on the FPHL trash talk page on FB they do talk about coaches being replaced, but I didn’t see any walking around.
