You cannot throw quick powerful punches in a boxing match with an open stance. he will be telegraphing his punches and get knocked out.

How do you know McGregor hits harder?
Posted on 3/3/17 at 12:51 pm to VerlanderBEAST
Conor is significantly bigger than both of them,
Where are you getting this McGregor is 5-9 154
Mayweather is 5-8 151

No way Bruce Lee could take down Ol' Mike and I am a huge Bruce Lee fan-although he didn't compete in tournaments for whatever reason.
Bruce Lee could't beat up a Bull and that is about the equivalent of small bruce against a prime Mike Tyson.
I see where size is definitely a factor that will always be in play. I love MMA and find it enjoyable having lived with some folks who are Kung-fu and Jiu Jitsu artists of their own. A whole family of them. To hear all the different striking techniques and areas to hit is fascinating stuff.
These people are the ones who told me that Boxers in a street fight are more formidable because getting someone to the ground would be very difficult Boxers are very good at evading an incoming attacker they claim. Why, I don't know. lol.. A good boxer mind you of course. Very well trained at protecting their head and other vital areas.
The whole world of MMA is a testament to the arts that allowed it to happen and come to being.

Not sure if you know this but pretty much every ufc fighter cuts weight. He fought diaz before that and weighed in at 168

Right and he has fought as low as 145 for the feather weight. He has spent most of his career in the 150s. The comment was in response to the fact that someone said he was bigger and taller. He is an inch taller and at his biggest fight weight he has 14 pounds on Mayweather. if he is in a boxing match e is going to have to come down to the weight class that Mayweather is in. So the argument was not researched.

Mayweather has fought as high as 154 and won belts there. He rarely goes up ten pounds on fight night. Conor blowing up like that will only make him even slower lol. Like I stated previously Mayweather in a boxing match would be unfair.
