It's an optical illusion where the farm system is as good as the MLB team, so it makes the farm look better than it really is

The Braves have had a bottom 10 ranked farm system every year for the past 5 or so years, and every year they promote a kid to the big league club who is in the running for rookie of the year. Acuna, Soroka, Ian Anderson (twice), Harris, Strider, Baldwin. 3 winners, a couple of runners up. The point of the farm system is to produce valuable big league players and they’ve done it every single year.
