No qualms about that, he most likely is. It’s just that this board has a fair amount of low frequency posters who are extremely uneducated and lack nuance on several topics. Everything is binary. Most don’t even have the foresight to acknowledge where they are lacking insight, but will position their perspective as the end all be all.

I don’t say that condescendingly, but more so as a matter of observation.

Bomani Jones and his racial shtick always struck me as odd. He was on the local sports station here in Raleigh a bunch in the early 2010’s and was honestly really good. Had great back and forth with some of the other local guys and callers and really nothing where race was the core of the conversation. He was the producer for some of the shows and I actually missed his takes when he moved on.

As soon as he started showing up on national shows and on Le Batard and other ESPN shows almost everything was about race and nearly insufferable. He was built up, like he said, as being the “smart black guy” but all his local stuff he didn’t get into any of that.

Makes you realize that corporate media is really just manufacturing most personalities.

You can be white and Cuban. Ricky Ricardo was of Cuban origin, but white as snow. Lionel Messi, Argentinian, is white.
This is one of the most brilliant things the left has ever done.

When Biden stands before the United States and proclaims white supremacy as the number 1 threat to the existence of democracy, nobody believes he’s out here talking about a bunch of Lionel Messi’s.

Every narrative, every stat, every utterance of “white” people is angled negatively and slapped onto the foreheads of us MAGA types to wear with shame.

One day we will have to fight back. I hope we decide to do it before it’s the only option.

99.99 percent of MAGA don’t know who he is. If he didn’t open his mouth, He’d be looked at as another ‘Merican.

Cubans, Caribbean and all of South America come in all colors, shapes, and sizes.
