What a day. First, St. Louis beats down the Chihawks, then get a couple of gifts in detroit going down to Philly and the Canucks getting housed by Dallas. C'mon playoffs.

Well, the Stars have been playing well recently. Compared to a couple of weeks ago, they're sitting pretty. Living in Huntsville, Tx right now, so I'm really looking forward to the Blues-Stars regular-season finale on 4-7. Could also be a playoff series.

I grew up in East Dallas (Garland) so Ive seen the ups and downs. Theyre playing better than almost every team right now, especially after winning every game on this mini-Canada road trip.

Blues IMO are the biggest surprise of the year. I had to look this up to see if it was real. Some things that stuck to me were:

They're leading scorer has a total 46 POINTS

They have the same home record as the Wings with the exception of 2 OT losses.

I don't know if they can sustain this amount of success in the playoffs, but it sure is nice to see a new team contending for the cup thus far.

Yeah, I think once the Wings start recovering (they got some pretty key injuries right now), it might be a different story.

Braves: I agree, the playoffs do kick arse

The Blues and Coyotes have been a big reason for the dead puck era v2 coming about. Having said that, I like St. Louis. Oshie is the tits. I think you'll see them or Nashville coming out of the west.

I would love to see Smashville come out the West but Wings or Nucks are the safe bets.

East is either Ranges, Bruins or Flyers!

blues fans better enjoy being on top western conference tonight, because vancouver is one point behind them and if the canucks beat the jets tomorrow night and the blues loss to the ducks, then vancouver will be on top

I'm hoping the Avs can sneak in, though I have slim hopes with the amount of road games we have left.

Also... Landeskog for Calder !
