The other thing is, that white guy he tried to lateral it too could have easily caught that ball and scored on the play.
Seeing as non-QB's never lateral in the open field you can't blame the other guy for being surprised.

Problem is he's obviously not expecting the ball

Saban calling that ridiculous fake punt on like 4th and 18 in the 1st quarter inside Bama's own 30 yard line.
One of the dumbest coaching decisions in football history.

Yeah I forgot about that
Seriously they were lucky that Colt went down
They would have gotten owned in that game

Jason White's Pick 6 in 2003.

USC 5 up on Texas late in the game. Going for it on 4th and 2 with the national championship on the line...and Reggie Bush IS ON THE BENCH????
Even if you aren't calling the play to him, flank him out wide and he takes 2 defenders with him.

I suppose you could say that the Miami defensive player that had the ball stripped by Clarette probably feels like a stupid cock.
RIP Sean Taylor

stoops made a lot of terrible 4th-down decisions against florida. didn't they try a fake fg and get snuffed out too?

does anyone have a link to the bush lateral. I can't really remember it and can't find it on youtube

They had a FG blocked, I don't recall a fake FG. You're right thou they made some bad decisions in the 2nd quarter. Twice they had the ball in the redzone that quarter and both times came away with nothing. You can't miss out on those opportunities against that good of an opponent.

the ting brother dropping the pick in the 4th (possibly last drive) against UT

kind of like how that jeter flip was REAL close to being a horrible, horrible play

Bush did that same lateral in a high school game when he was getting tackled...
Would have been an awesome play if the guy trailing him was looking for him instead of looking to make a block.
4th and 2 - Winston Justice totally missed his block which led to THAT guy making the tackle and even then it was just short...he makes his block and it's a first down.
Still would have liked to have Reggie on the field for at least a decoy.
