Couple off the top of my head.

tU is back

UCLA is winless

Vandy being the best team in their state.

GT looks to be repping the old Coastal Division (RIP in Peace )

UNLV vs Boise in 2 weeks may determine a playoff spot

BYU creeping into the top 25 having as many wins as they were expecting all year.

Mizzou

Collapse of Clemsons offense

Bama fans sigh of relief they won’t have to play LSU every year going forward

Plus they are stacked with NFL talent. Probably the best D-line in CFB.

neither one of those D ends have balled out like a top 10 pick.

Gotta have a chest to go along with the talent

Louisiana Tech being this good is a shocker. Before the season I would've said 3-5 wins

Why is the SEC so bent on making LSU vs TAMU a rivalry worth caring about. As far as rivals go.

Never heard Nebraska called "NU" or Missouri called "MU"

While Colorado and Oklahoma DO have "CU" and "OU" on their helmets, they are stupid for doing so....

Reading CFB articles must be taxing on your sensibilities.

This current article from Sports Illustrated is your nightmare....

quote:

As everyone knows, MU edged the Huskers 30-27. MU was a 2 1/2 point favorite going into the game. The loss might be a moral victory of sorts for Nebraska considering just two years ago, MU embarrassed the Huskers 45-7.

quote:

Let's go back a few years to a game NU lost in 1992,

The date was November 14th at Cyclone Stadium. The 'Clones upset Nebraska 19-10.

NU scored only 10 points in the entire game that day. NU was also shut out the entire second half of that game. NU was also held to 246 yards of total offense.

Not correct, KU is the University of Kansas.

As someone said, all the flagship schools of the Big 8 are The University of [STATE NAME], but go by OU, NU, CU, MU, KU. In my opinion, that order of the letters just sounds better than having the U go first (UO sounds awful), though I'm not sure if that was the reason for it.

You are probably too young to know but ALL Big8 schools went by XU for athletics. Every single one. Not sure why the Big8 did that but they did. It may go all the way back to the missouri valley conference, not 100% sure.

They wanted to differentiate themselves from the other major conferences. The Big 8 and SWC also had a bunch of their teams with the school name across the chest of the jerseys. Not a lot of other schools do that.
