I have been Googling a few times this AM but I cannot find viewership numbers for either.
I do see that Messi's debut has generated 3.5B views worldwide online but I can't confirm if that's just clips sharing or some combo of actual game audience.

1 of the Spanish channels was able to broadcast it outside of Apple+/Apple TV. Apparently that feed that streamed worldwide outside of the U.S.
