i think they are fricked period if this shite goes down
if cu goes pac ten, and another team or two goes big ten or pac ten, they are fricked

I think they could compensate for one team by adding TCU but if they lose more then 1 team they are screwed

They'll be fine as long as they don't lose Texas. CU and Mizzou don't do much the Big-12. CU's financial situation is a disaster right now

I think this is a bunch of posturing by the top of the Big12.....(+ Colorado & Mizzou)
- Fix our shite or we're going to bail
But, I wouldnt be shocked at all if both CU & Mizzou split town. I just cant see how any team that's in the Big12 south would think joining the Big10 would be beneficial in the long run....Big12 North - yeah, there's something to it perhaps

I agree I didn't think it out by saying any 2 teams gone. The big 12 really needs to put its ego aside and pretty much try to do as much as they can to please Texas.

Not entirely true, while the sports teams don't add much, that's the #3 and #4 biggest television markets in the Big XII. Can't afford to lose Denver, St. Louis and half of Kansas City.

I'm afraid to start a new thread for this but if you would start a 12 team big boy conference of anyone across the country... best of the best... you can break it down into two divisions... who would be in it?
USC
Texas
Oklahoma
Nebraska
Ohio State
Michigan
Florida
LSU
Alabama
Penn State
Virginia Tech
Florida State

I would love for that to happen.
And South Carolina gets traded for Florida State.
It'd be fantastic for me as a fan.

I don't see any sec team leaving unless they are kicked out somehow. Only way the conference gets new teams is if it expands
