Have to pick Kaep. Daniels has been in the league 7 years and started what, 2 games?
We have no idea what he can do.

Who's better, Chase Daniel or Kaep?

He's had offers, but he refused to come in and backup. And his girl pissed away the Baltimore chance.
His agent played hardball, demanding a starting gig, not backup.
NFL called his bluff, and now he's getting Talcum X to try and rustle jimmies to get him an NFL job. He's desperate.
The Brown family are clowns, so wouldn't shock me if they brought him in. And bringing him in does nothing but causes rift and even more split in locker room. It will be Daltons guys vs CK guys.
And it's not the kneeling that did him in, it's his continued diarrhea of the mouth. If all he did was protest, he'd already be on a roster, but when he kept doubling on stupid, he chose to take the path less followed.

So why don't you think the Saints cut Chase Daniel and sign Kaep as a backup? In your opinion should they?

Also, if your looking to lose, like several franchises are, he's the worst QB to bring in. He could actually win a game or 2, and cost you a top QB in this draft.

So if things like contractual statuses of current backups factor into discussion, doesn't that invalidate "1 of best 32" argument" as why he should be on a roster?
Also in this one hypothetical example, are you running same saints offense with Kaep as backup?

quote:No, those are irrelevant to the idea that he's 1 of the best 32. Guys like Savage, Hoyer, and Fitzpatrick all have jobs and 2 I believe signed contracts in the offseason, so that kind of actually invalidates your point IMO.

When Kaep was being hyped as the net great on here years back I was called an idiot for telling people to pump the brakes and that I don't see him being top tier because he doesn't go through his reads. So I'm not a fan of his at all, this comes from an unbiased opinion. He is absolutely a top 32 QB, which means he should be starting for a team. In the right system you can win with a guy that lacks accuracy but has incredible athleticism, the Panthers have had success doing so.
Id say his loud mouth girlfriend ruined things, though.

Would love to see James Harrison vs Kaepernick.
Won't happen, but would be good TV.
