Bengals center Ted Karras immediately dropped to one knee when he saw Hamlin collapse.

Drop to his knee, made the sign of the cross and started praying.
He knew it was bad.

I didn’t even see when Hamlin went down. I had no idea what was happening. But within seconds I saw a Bills player kinda losing his shite and Bengals players immediately took a knee also, I’m talking as soon as Hamlin was down, and I knew something terrible was happening more than concussion or broken limb.

I tuned in some minutes after the hit. The first thing I saw was Booger and Adam Schefter talking in the most depressing tone.
It took me a couple of minutes to catch on everything that happened.

I saw Tee turn up field and make hard contact to Hamlin like it's been done countless times in countless games. Hamlin got up and then just collapsed.

I’m in hotel after being at LSU/Purdue today. Was watching, saw the hit. Looked away from TV, never saw him get up and fall. I look back and they’re talking about and injured player and go to commercial. I leave the room, run downstairs, come back probably 10-15 min later and was shocked to see just how bad it was. Never woulda thought it from that hit.

The way he fell back after standing was one of the scariest things I’ve seen in sports. Just hopped up after a tackle and then the lights went off.

He took two steps back and then collapsed

Players on the field would have seen the guy drop or seen he was unresponsive. Everyone at field level would have been able to see the medics doing CPR moments later
