Texas as 21 D1 schools and 350k graduates. La has 11 and 30k graduates. It is kind of easy to see why the numbers are as they are. It isnt talent, it is geography.

are you arguing with me or agreeing because thats essentially what i said lol

Did you really just talk about state talent and ZT? They have kids from NC, SC, KY, PA, TX, AZ and more that play with them. They arent a local Cali team by any stretch. That is like saying Texas Prime is a Texas team, or Texas ZT.

Twelve is all local Texas and can play with just about any in the country.

zt national is more cali kids than anythng but i get your point.

mvp is all cali kids and i would put them against anyone including 12

and yea i realize 14u kids are goign to 9th, also you have to realzie that talent is about be spread out and not concentrated on 1 or 2 hs teams.

i have said from the start, texas has way more prospects, but per captia Louisiana is up there for D1 prospects. Have never argued that louisiana baseball is better than texas baseball, it isnt.

all i said was the top 2-3 teams in LA (Barbe, WM, Catholic usually) could hang with the top teams in Texas and would be about 50/50 with them. But i alos understand that texas has abotu 20 teams about like teams 4 &5 in louisiana and maybe even more.

i dunno wtf you are even arguing. i was talking hs and you talking 14u travel ball. two totally different things.

None, and probably wont get any He is just pretty good but lacks tools to be elite. And there arent any really good players getting college offers unless it is JC or some smaller type school.. I just love the game and I have loved watching the kids he has played with, against and around grow up. He isnt on the same level as the kids on the elite of the the elite. But he is hell on keeping up with all his guys in the southeast around his age

There are elite 14 year olds with college interest in the age group, so it is a fair indicator.

ftr i do know you know the upper levels of TB very well. and i wasnt arguing with you. more saying your statement about the top hs teams cant compete with texas top teams, which is simply untrue.

in general michigan doesnt put out a shite ton of talent, but St Marys has a ton on their team and their is a reason they finished the year ranked #1.

and for those doubting 14u kids getting scholarships, this is a 13u kid i know that is on the usa prime team, these are the type of kids foot is talking about

And I had replied to coater, who had mentiond travel ball. You replied to me with an ignorance comment. As you do.

If you wanted to talked HS baseball only, you shouldve just ignored two guys describing the baseball they were seeing in a thread about Baseball.

The words HS didnt come out of my fingertips. You can always find an elite group, concentrate them and compete.

My son has played against Jordan a bunch. He is so damn fast. In 8u when he played for Smash he hit a ball to right so far and so high that he around second probably midway to third prior to it landing.

Great kid. Dad is pretty intense.

yea you should see him when he is training the kids, he pushes them hard even the 7u kids he trains.

i apologize for the misunderstanding, i was talking strictly HS ball. my bad if i came off as a dick

and yea jordan is a stud, so is JD Alexander in that 14u class that is goign to barbe.

i follow quite a few of those kids on the usa prime team and some on that tx florida canes and have for a while. its crazy how good alot of those kids are for that age.

We usually rank ahead of them in most everything——
Worst Highways Top 50, we are only 7th, they’re #1
Education we’re are 49, Miss. 50
Poverty is where they excel though, Miss. #1
Us # 4, but fear not John Bel has us in the hunt for the #1 spot ( we’ve already moved into #2 Medicare)

Don't count him out yet!! I see a lot of studs from 13 and 14U that by Sophomore year kids start to catch them up. Many were early bloomers.

Football is huge in Mississippi as is baseball. Both states have a lot of great talent in both sports.

The past couple of years Mississippi has turned out a lot of great players

Depends on the question. Is the talent better at Mississippi college baseball programs? Over the last couple of years, I would say yes--given the number of universities.

In terms of talent that is homegrown, probably Louisiana--even per capita. Ole Miss and State are probably 2/3 to 3/4 out-of-state. USM is majority out-of-state kids.

If you look at the Perfect Game ratings, you see a lot of top recruits in each class in MS going to JUCOs and middle to low-level D1 programs.
