Agreed, that's why I've always advocated for outfielders learning how to juggle.

No, tag up can occur anytime after first touch.

I understand that different ages require different modifications to the rules, But the 6 year olds in Kenner and in JPRD and at Carollton, etc, should all have the same basic rules.

Yes, it's frustrating. But it's also why I made sure to have a ground rules conference before every game to make sure I understood all those little rule differences.
