S. Florida teams and it isn't close. LA always seems to support the Lakers.

Dto about Boston and the seperation between the Bruins and Pats/Sawx and Celtics.

However, is their defense (kinda), the bandwagonning is more of a national thing. Once the Sawx won, it was as if everyone in the South had a relative in Boston. That shite got old fast.

The Florida teams are interesting because MOST of them are new, and haven't established deep roots yet. The Magic, Heat, Lightning, Panthers, Jaguars, Marlins, and Rays are all within the past 25 years, which is still pretty young in the grand scheme of things. But the attitude of Heat and Marlins fans are pretty piss-poor.

Fact! Prior to The 2006 season, you couldn't give Saints tickets away. No one in the city was a fan and now there are 30k people on the ticket waiting list. I kno soneone who owns a LSU retail shop that sells Saints merchandise. He said if the Saints are not winning, nothing moves off the shelves. Hornets can't get 7k people to a game, make the playoffs are tickets are nearly impossible to get.

I know this city of which you speak......it's every single city that has a crappy pro sports team at any given point in time.
