Criteria:::::

Magic led his team to a title in his rookie season and in game 6 had a performance for the ages with Kareem out to clinch the title........

Lebron is a better passer and playmaker than MJ was.

Then he goes on to say MJ’s peak was better because he could fit on more teams then Lebron. While I don’t agree with that, or don’t think it’s at a level that should determine who had the greatest peak, it’s a silly af point to make.

Does defense fit into this criteria, because MJ was a MUCH better defender than LeBron. I know Bron Bron makes spectacularly athletic blocks from behind that IMHO skew the narrative that he is a good defender, but take that away and I don't think it's close.

but Lebron could guard 1-4 at an elite level

This is probably the biggest lie in NBA history

LeBron is the most overrated passer of alltime. There’s nothing special about his passing ability.

The LeBron hate is comical. The things it makes people say is truly hysterical.

MJ could too, guarding people beyond the perimeter constituted an underrated of his game that many overlook and his legendary athleticism and leaping ability enabled him to effectively defend low post players. I never paid much attention to peak LeBron’s D during that time, I don’t doubt he was truly elite at D during that time but comparing a great, versatile defender to arguably the greatest defender in the history of the game is like comparing a human to God, he can’t win.

no Kobe is absurd

you tell us your index of productivity. what are your measurables?

suppose the author made his formula and then applied it to Kobe. if Kobe is 12th does that work for you?

He was never guarding his opponents best players. Battier and Wade took care of the perimeter. Andersen, Haslem, and Anthony took care of the post/paint.

At the end of every assist is points

How is that overrated?

8th all time in assists

3rd all time in points

I’m not sure if you understand how unique that is.

I call BS on that saw enough of both of their peak defensive days to where I'm not sure what criteria he was using but it damn sure wasn't reality.
