Where's that tool who was crying about Michigan not making the tournament a month ago?

Big game tonight as Michigan St visits Carver Hawkeye Arena and the Iowa Hawkeyes. I think Iowa takes this game. Should be another great game in the B1G!

Huge win for Sparty last night without Payne or Dawson. Iowa killed themselves all night. Just another classic game in the B1G. I think they said that was the 13th overtime game in conference play this year....13 is unreal!

I had not seen much of iowa prior to last night, but that was one great (and tough) game.

I've been saying all year that Iowa is my darkhorse team to make a deep run in the NCAA tourney. They generally score a bunch of points and play good defense. In the B1G, opponents are so familiar with them that the conference knows the little things that can beat them. In the tourney, the teams they will be playing wont have that advantage or experience playing the Hawkeyes. I can see Iowa making an Elite 8/Final 4 run. They have all the pieces to do it.

Wow, just read where Nebraska dismissed Deverell Biggs from the team. Huge loss for them.

Iowa didn't score for the last 15 minutes of the game. It was crazy.

It was...very unusual for a team that scores a bunch of points, which is why missing all of those free throws on an off night came back to haunt them last night.

Iowa isn't ready to be a top tier team...yet. They have gone from terrible to good very quickly. I think they have over achieved a bit so far. Good building for the future though.

Crazy weekend in the B1G. Ohio State gets a big win on the road at Wisconsin. Northwestern continues to improve and impress! Chris Collins has done a great job there. Indiana knocks off Michigan and the head scratcher of the weekend is Michigan St losing to Georgetown?? MSU needs to get healthy. Their injuries could hurt them down the stretch. Updated standings:
NCAA locks:
Michigan State 19-3 (8-1)*
Michigan 16-5 (8-1)*
Iowa 17-5 (6-3)*
Now the fun begins:
Northwestern 12-11 (5-5)
Ohio State 17-5 (4-5)*
Wiscsonsin 17-5 (4-5)*
Minnesota 15-7 (4-5)*
Indiana 14-8 (4-5)*
The bottom:
Nebraska 11-9 (3-5)
Purdue 13-9 (3-6)
Penn State 12-10 (3-6)
Illinois 13-9 (2-7)
I see 7 teams getting in, possibly 8 if Northwestern some how continues to stay hot, wins some big games and wins a couple of B1G tourny games.

Michigan pounds the Corn by 29. The next four games are a gauntlet and I think Michigan finishes 12-6 in the conference.
