I always hear uv protection, but not sure how important it really is. I think the type of pen used on the jersey is the most important thing to make the signature last. I have about 10-15 framed jerseys and none with uv, but I also don't have any windows in my sports room so have never worried about it. If I had windows id use uv glass.
As for framing, id stay away from the hobby lobby and michaels places. Way overpriced. look for a mom and pops owner operated frame store and see what they will charge. Theres a place in baton rouge that will do it for $80. I used to frame my own jerseys until I found that they would do it for not much more than it was costing me.

I need the name of this place. Have any pics of your jerseys in their frames?
I need to get my PP7, Mathieu, and Fournette LSU #7 jerseys in nice frames. I currently have them in shitty $40 eBay jersey frames.

Darrel and Sons. on corner of Essen and perkins. Its family owned and they are great to work with. The $80 is just a one color background with certain frames I think. But they can dress it up with matting, photos, etc. but that will obviously cost more. I'll see if I have any pics of mine.

I have my signed Mathieu jersey framed on the wall. Began planning a "7" Jersey series years ago (when Fournette was still a soph) but haven't gotten around to getting PP and LF jerseys yet.

Here’s a PP7. When it includes an authenticity certificate are there any companies to avoid because their certificates might be fake etc.....

Thank goodness I don't have the framed AD jersey . Glass would definitely be broken . His bobble head is toast .

We actually added a decal like this to the bottom of the glass after the AD drama started...
