Orioles lost and Dodgers won today, so we’re currently 4 games up on BAL and 4.5 up on LAD.
Mookie and Freddie had big games for LA today, Ronnie needs to do the same because they have made up a shite ton of ground on him in the MVP race. You can make the case for all three to win it right now with Mookie maybe having the strongest case at the moment.

I’ve been ready for the postseason since late June. Excited to see this team play meaningful games again.
The closest thing we will get to that before then is when we go to LA at the end of the week, but even then, the stakes for that series won’t be that high.

Horrible. I hate ESPN broadcasts. Piss poor production every damn time. I proactively plan to do other things with the TV on and the radio broadcast running through Bluetooth. Can glance at the TV as needed

That’s incredible, no doubt. But be honest, a lot of these combos are pretty arbitrary. I don’t think it’s an automatic MVP for Ronnie. And it shouldn’t be. There’s been 40/40 before. If somebody hits 49 home runs, steals 45 bases, and slashes .350/.440/.700, then Ronnie shouldn’t win it over them just because he’s the 1st 30/60.

This is retarded. If anything, it’s the opposite. We hate the Dodgers and would hate for Ronnie’s historic season to not get rewarded with an MVP because he cooled off down the stretch and didn’t finish strong.
(I still think some of his “slump” is due not having the protection of Mike hitting in front of him and Ozzie behind him. Is there any word on when Ozzie’s supposed to come back?)
