That was not a “oh no we suck” post, that was just a statement of fact.

I'm really not a big fan of the whole coast to the finish line and hope to turn it on again strategy. I've never seen that pay off in sports. This is like the NFL team who starts out 13-0, rests starters for a few weeks, and then loses their first playoff game because it takes awhile to get in a rhythm again.

Geez what is going on with Strider? Checked box score and 6 hits already.

It’s not ideal, but considering there is a gap for us between the season and the playoffs, I don’t think momentum matters much.
What does concern me is that, best case scenario, our NLDS rotation is Strider, Fried having only logged 12 innings in 5 weeks and Elder.
Worst case scenario, our NLDS rotation is Strider, Elder and Wright out of necessity.

I have YTTV so I haven't been able to watch Bally this year. Looking forward to the playoffs and might try to head to Truist for a game this October.

Strider in a playoff situation makes me nervous.

Orioles last night and today so if everything holds now as is we can get the magic number over Baltimore down to 3.
LA won last night and are currently tied so as of now that number is still at 4.
