Morton placed on IL with right finger inflammation, not eligible to come off of it until NLCS, if we make it that far.

Murphy played his best earlier in the season when TDA was out with the concussion and he was playing almost every day. I'm convinced that rotating them as much as we do is hurting them both. Neither of them can get in any sort of a rhythm.

Even with this lineup, batting him 5th today was so dumb. He has stranded a baserunner in every single one of his ABs.
He should be treated like a pitcher at the plate until he shows he can do something other than strike out or roll over. Just put him 9th and minimizes as many of his ABs as possible.

Braves announced that Waldrep will not make his MLB debut this year. Yesterday was his final appearance of the season after throwing 130+ IP between college and the minors.

Read somewhere that the Braves are converting Charlie Culberson into a Pitcher. Anybody else see this?
