I’d love for next season OFers to be Acuña, Pache, and Duvall with Ozuna as the DH if the NL goes to it full time. I’d like to see Waters brought up at some point next year as well

If Liberty continues to run it like a business, I am assuming payroll will be cut drastically next year.

While, you're not wrong, there is no reason for Liberty to do such, IMO. They need butts in the seats/at the battery next year, more than ever. They need people excited about the Braves and spending money. Atlanta he has proven time and again that they are fair weather fans. You need a winning product. Obviously, we're very close to a complete team.

From a business perspective, drastically reducing their payroll in a business unit where the payroll directly affects revenue, in a year after the worst possible scenario for revenue, doesn't necessarily make that much sense. IMO.

Especially as close as we are to winning a WS. That's way more profitable long term than slashing payroll that the battery and team depend on to generate revenue.

Maybe if they know stadiums are going to be empty next year then I think you might have a case. All indicatons are that games will have fans next year. How many, who knows?

I already got an email survey about a potential socially distanced playoff watch party at Truist.

Liberty has no say so about slashing or adding to the payroll. Its ALL on the Braves and

Truist has been a hit from day 1 and it was far more difficult task to draw fans to Turner field with a mediocre product than it is to the Battery.
