He'd only really have to see the field if we had an injury. Rosario has been worth negative WAR this year, and is a pretty bad defensive player himself.

Rosario has been decent at the plate lately.

If you call up Tromp, Hilliard gets DFA’d, which I’m fine with, but Ozuna shouldn’t ever play the field

I'm honestly getting close to the point where I want to see Harris go down to get straightened out, but he deserves another month or so of being this bad before anything that drastic.

Rosario is .211/.650 in his last 15 days, .150/.490 in his last 7, he really hasn't.

Anyway, good win and offensive performance.

Lol Harris isn’t going down no matter how badly he struggles at the plate. His glove and arm are too important

Yeah, I'm aware .

But if he's still a negative WAR player a month from now, he should.

If he can't get it together at the plate up in the majors, need to do something to get him straightened out. Long way to go before that kind of decision though.

We aren't going anywhere in the playoffs if we have negative WAR starting in two OF positions though, I don't care how good his CF defense is.

We aren’t going anywhere with Kevin Pillar or Sam Hilliard playing CF either. Harris is going to get AB’s whether it’s in Gwinnett or Atlanta because he’s still the best option. May as well be in Atlanta.

You’re bot thinking this through at all.

The only way he's gonna get out of this is by getting AB's at the major league level. Seeing pitches at AAA from proverbial AAAA/career minor league guys will do him no good.

Snit played a hunch to PH TDA for Money and it was money. He might be the best manager in baseball at late game subs/PH situations. No need to read that much more into it than that.

Broski is right, we need Harris to work his way out of this b/c we aren't winning anything w/Hillard and/or Pillar getting the bulk of the starts in CF

You’re right, shouldn’t read too much into this. Lefty on lefty matchup in a clutch situation, cold hitter, fastball pitcher, got a vet on the bench who’s one of the best fastball hitters in the game. No brainer to me. Worked out beautifully.

I hope Snit manages just long enough to let d’Arnaud be manager.

That's actually what the Braves want to happen.

My idea is it's more a mental thing at that point. Send him down to AAA for a couple weeks and get his head turned back around with some easier success. You don't hit .160ish or whatever he is right now without it being mostly mental (or major health issues, but he's still playing great CF defense there). But I can see the sink or swim angle as well.

Hopefully it ceases to be an issue and he gets it together.

The Braves already won with Hilliard in CF. Money will need to go down and clear his head if he doesn’t get going soon.

Comments earlier about needing a third catcher if Darno plays a lot. The third catcher is Culberson.
