Sure but because the Dodgers won doesn’t mean that the series is over.

Stop putting that team on a pedestal, we can beat them.

No but it’s going to be 2-2 soon because Atlanta isn’t beating Urias

we hit urias the other night. he has pitched in 3 outta last 6 games. dodger bullpen is worn out

the bigger issue is whether our pitchers give up 10 runs or more tomm like folty did in 2019 that NLDS game when he shite bed. or kyle wright last year when he crapped bed against dodgers in game 3.

You realize that it wasn’t a bad pitch and definitely wasn’t a bad pitch considering the hitter, right?

Bellinger probably sold out for high fastball and got it. I mean, I don’t know what to tell you guys.

you simply cannot blow a 3 run lead in the 8th on the road to a team you are snake bit and cursed against.

Agreed, you also cannot let one game carry over into the next, let alone the rest of the series.

We'll see if that's the case tomorrow.

Everyone needs to take a breath though. We're in a good spot. I honestly thought we'd be down 1-2 at this point.

Here's where you tell me you knew the Braves would take a 2-0 lead, right?

i am tired of telling you what we shoulda done to minimize risk regardless of analytics. it is basic common sense. you think you have a better shot at jacking a riseball or a dropball to use a softball reference? what type of pitches get you a higher chance of a grounder???

You don’t get it. Everyone would be fine being down 1-2 as long as we got blown out or no hit in those games. As long as we lose in what everyone considers an acceptable way, we could be down 0-3 right now and still be in better shape. That’s what I’ve learned from this thread.

No, frick no. I thought it was going to be a gentleman’s sweep for the Dodgers. I spy on the Braves threads and most here think you’re sweeping everyone I hate the Dodgers and Braves. But frick the Dodgers and their Mickey Mouse title

you miss the whole point and principle of the matter

Anyone who thought that before game one needs to be institutionalized.

This series was always going at least 6.

With that said, had we not choked today, I don't think we're going back to Atlanta until game 3 of the World Series.

Or maybe you just don't understand the importance of closing out a team on the road up 3 in the 8th. I played baseball half my life.
