Never. I normally watch at least 1 game per day even if my team is off. Nothing like watching baseball while at work. I probably watch 150 or so Angels games per year.

NEVER. even during the offseason. MLB has the most exciting offseason of any sport. more player movement than any other sport crammed into a shorter offseason than any other sport.

and there's probably more sub-25 great or potentially great players now than at any point in my lifetime. The game is as healthy as its ever been.

If you haven't watched since the 94 strike then you probably wouldn't be watching now anyway even if there wasn't a strike.

That's akin to being cheated on by a woman and giving up women for the rest of your life.

Is there a sport more commented on by posters who don't give it a chance than the MLB?

Every year there's multiple threads started by someone who feels the need to state their dislike of MLB. They say they haven't watched since the strike or steroids, but then make suggestions like shortening the season or speeding up the game.

I love the game, it's the greatest game on earth, that's why I can't understand all of this talk about trying to make the game better. People talk about the high strike zone and changing this and that. Why? To speed up the game? That's the beauty of baseball. There is no time element.

I might turn it on for the first time all season during the playoffs.

That's because they're lying.

It's hip to hate baseball and it's easy to pick the low hanging fruit of the strike, or steroids. Steroids happend (in every sport), and honestly the backlash has made the game better. Players are having to use other tools to succeed and thus becoming more than one trick ponies.

I mean, I stop watching live games after the world series is over. I guess that's when I "stop following" it

I stopped caring about the regular seasons when the Expos moved to Washington in 05. Now I only watch the playoffs and the occasional Braves regular season game when bored.

For me it's during NHL playoffs then start back following in September casually. Only watch playoff games, due to CFB and NFL

What kind of commie bullshite is this?

Was a huge baseball fanatic growing up. As I hit my mid-teens I got more into basketball and football and didn't follow it nearly as much.

Now I'm in my mid-20's and have started gravitating back to baseball. I'm not really sure why. Perhaps the decline of the Astros is what caused me to stop following as closely.

I was 10. Baseball fanatic. Mariners freak and then the strike hit. Got really into football that fall and haven't watched a game since

Well except when the mariners were on, Griffey to the reds killed whatever interest remained
