I was a machine at age 25 or so in the Army. I'd say 25.

Depends on the sport but for the big sports in the US it's around 24-27 I would guess.

I'd say the peak is the combination of athleticism being at a high point with the mental side at its max.

I'd say 25/26 is when most athletes reach their physical peak. They probably stay at that level until about 29. At about 27/28 they are playing their best because they have peaked physically and also have the experience to use it.

And that has everything to do with your age and nothing to do with the probablity that you neither of those things nearly as frequent as you used to?
