I think it'll be the Yankees and Cubs.
Right now the AL is a toss up, but the playoff picture has pretty much been set for a month with the Yankees, Red Sox, Indians, Mariners, and Astros. The Yankees' lineup is insanely good and deep, but they need another starting pitcher. The wild card (no pun intended) is that they still have 9 games left against the Red Sox, 6 of which are at Fenway.

I remember when the Nats were 52-36 headed into the All Star break in 2005 and ended up missing the playoffs and ended the season 81-81. Its early July, cool your jets. The Nats have been absolute dog shite the past month and still aren’t that far back.

Just saying that the Braves have proven they aren't just a fluke. That they are in fact "winning shite". They'll be firmly in the NL East mix.
Also did you know The Nationals have never won a playoff series?

Best record in the NL
Top 5 in most hitting categories
Good starters, rough bullpen
3 game lead on philly, 6 up on the nats. This team isn’t a fluke just because they’re ahead of schedule. They have a great shot at the playoffs and saying unequivocally that they’ll be out is a very dumb take even by your standards.

The Braves are ahead of schedule but these series against the Yankees, Brew & Zona will show me everything I need to see.

Fully aware of the Nats incompetence in the playoffs. Hoping the Caps changed the winning culture in DC though.

You know you clicked on a prediction thread, right?

The Astros didn’t help the rockets.

And your prediction sucked.
It was basically “last years playoffs will happen the exact same way this year.”

The three best teams in baseball are in the AL this year and the NL has almost half of their league still in playoff contention. I think we see a repeat of last years ALCS with Yankees and Astros with the winner winning it all this year. The NL this year doesn’t have a last year Dodgers or a Cubs team from 2 years ago. This year feels like a wild card team can make a run to the World Series in the NL.

Your trolling of Braves fans will never die. I appreciate the consistency at least.
