This doesn’t pass the smell test. No way he’s that stupid. Methinks there are politics at play.

Both can be true

There are a lot of idiot high school football coaches out there

And this seems to be, from what I have read, somewhat of an unpopular hiring decision when it was made back in the spring. So certainly politics can be invovled now.

Politics will probably really come out in regards to the principal and other administrators, but Garvin is the one who blew it for them all. It’s a game of politics and one side blew their chance.

Any success West Monroe has ever achieved is due to one person…. Don Shows.

It’s a great community, and they are ripe for more success, but they have to close the door on the Shows era, eliminate politics from their program, and find a good coach that doesn’t have any connections to the good ole boy network.
