First time in some time that they have played a weak ooc schedule. You know that. When they agreed to play Tennessee they were a top SEC team. They were scheduled to play Wyoming but they backed out. No world beater but better than New Mexico, who filled in. Not their fault they caught Tennessee on a down year. Who I might add played some pretty good teams tough.
Yet Ohio State is criticized for scheduling a good team then playing them when they are down (Washington, apparently Da U) but Oregon gets a pass?

ASU is not any worse than Vandy Miss State
I thought state was a top 25 team?

Oregon is probably done scheduling Boise..

If Oregon ever played the whole game like they do the second half they would beat people by 100

How long ago did they agree to play UT? They haven't been a top team in a while.

I know. But if we're comparing conferences side-by-side Vandy and Washington State are probably comparable.

Miss State
ASU is worse than Miss State. Miss State is top half of the conference this year.

Would be a good game, MSU's passing game is such a liability though.

That's a great question. When was Tennessee last relevant?
Posted on 11/26/10 at 9:41 pm to VABuckeye
UT went to the SEC title game in '07

We're voting Ole Miss out after the JSU debacle.

Tennessee. 2007? They played in the SECCG that year so that would have to give them some kind of relevance. I'd think that Oregon had them scheduled before then.

that's just it, every year there will be teams that struggle in one game and then match up better and play a good team tough.

2005 was their first losing season since 1988.

I haven't criticized OSU for that although I for one didn't think much of Miami. They will get overhyped again next year. Typically Oregon plays a tough OOC schedule along with playing one more bcs game than most teams.

Tennessee was scheduled in 2005.

Thanks for posting that picture of Barner in a game that his team got its' collective arse kicked in.

If Blount/Masoli doesn't muff that exchange you might not be saying that. You guys certainly controlled a vast majority of that game but it was still only a couple plays from going the other way.
And you can have the Rose Bowl win, we're busy working on a National Championship at the moment (in my own backyard no less!)
