half of Teo's INTs came to balls thrown literally right at his chest or off tipped passes. At least Tyrann had to, you know, do shite to force his fumbles and make INTs

Suh should have won

If Suh were on this Notre Dame team, against a freshman, he probably would win

Didn't the bulk of Teo's ints come in 2 games against really horrid teams, and then I know he had 1 against a fresh qb making his first start..

I know one came from a tipped ball to him that was probably incomplete if I recall correctly.

SO let's take that away from him for sure.

Because he wasn't even the best player at his position on his team. He definitely had the big play factor which is what got him to NY but he finished about where he should.

Claiborne was definitely the superior cover guy, but it's pretty hard to argue that Mathieu wasn't our best player last year. He was our most dynamic play maker and a catalyst for a lot of our momentum. Did Claiborne have a more significant play than:

- PR's vs Georgia
- PR vs Ark
- Strip and score vs Oregon
- INT return to the 1 vs WVU

Each play played a huge part in LSU winning the respective game. I guess Mo's most game-changing play was the INT vs Bama?

Kickoff TD against WVU. They were rolling on offense and had really shut our O down. If we punt there, no doubt in my mind they take the lead on the next possession.

Man, the butthurt over Te'o on here is crazy.

1] HB7 went against stiffer competition. Quit bringing him up; it was a different year and a different class. Had his class looked like this one, he would be the odds on favorite.

2] Te'o is a stand out player on an undefeated team. Not just any undefeated team, a Notre Dame team that hasn't had this success in 24 years. Is this everyone's first year following the Heisman?

3] Te'o int arguments... Shitty teams? Johnny Football's stats against shitty teams count so do Te'o's. Thrown right to him? Not his fault QB's throw it right to him, but good on him for making the catch. How many times have you seen a LB drop a pass gifted to them?

4] There are better LB's out there... but none of them are on an undefeated Notre Dame team.....

No one is saying Teo sucks. He just is not the outstanding CFB player in America.

But of course you know that.

When do the vote? I always thought that they finalists were picked based on how the votes went. Yet I've heard several voters, Mark Ingram was one, who said yesterday that he was undeceided because they just picked the finalists on Monday.

So, if Ingram wants to vote for Mettenberger, is it a write-in?

They just need to make the Heisman an offensive award. There really are no defenders who deserve it as much as the Qbs/Rbs. Only way a defender should get mentioned is if they also play an offensive position and actually make an impact.

It is not supposed to be an MVP award. It is supposed to be THE BEST player in CFB.

We all know better. It almost always goes to the best player on the best team.
