Do people still say that?

I haven’t heard it in a couple of years and figured the trend had died.

But starting sentences with “I mean” is still in. Maybe try going with that if you’re a fan of trendy language.

Their current symbol (and even their 2008-2018 symbol) does imply that they're now trying to claim that they're the Sun Rays.

But nobody really thinks of them as the Sun Rays. Everybody thinks of them as the Devil Rays. They were called the Devil Rays for their first 10 years of existence, and shortening the name to Rays doesn't cause people to stop thinking of them as the Devil Rays.

If they wanted people to stop thinking of them as the Devil Rays, then they should have dropped the Rays name completely.

But only queers think sunrays is what they were going for. The thought never even occurs to straight people. So they added it as a test to help identify truly gay people.
Reading this led to me singing "The Canyman" by Sammy Davis Jr.

The Candy Man can 'cause he mixes it with love And makes the world taste good

Does that make me more, or less, gay?

I thought some one had an issue with DEVIL as part of name, so it went to just Rays.

I think it was Miss Boucher who complained.
