I see nothing wrong with your post. I was just trying to get under Gyno's skin.

You came in here like some FO exec know it all who has made it to the big time from a bunch of hard work, talking down to anyone who offered a difference of opinion.

I was simply trying to offer advice from past experiences.

You're still in sales, dude. Step off your high horse.

Most advice given on this subject is wrong which results in steering the OP in the wrong direction.

your linkedin says u have a sports management degree and that you want to be a college professor and teach that subject.

curious to know why you are saying sports degrees are worthless? wasn't that your "in" to the business?

Have a friend who worked the Saints training camps while in college and got offered a position after he graduated. He had to turn it down because he wasn't going to make enough money to live off. Like others said the pay is probably low starting off.

You have to have connections and preferably been an ex athlete. My brother is currently a sports agent but he started out trying to get an NBA job. All that was offered him was sales/marketing type stuff. He has been a gm in the nbdl and some smaller league, assistant coach at a few colleges and has made a bunch of connections. All I can say is good luck because it's hard to get on.

How difficult is it to get on as a team trainer or physical therapist?
