You're a Yankees fan bud, you're not any better.

Home of the Liberty Bell, home to justice, note the black eye on the puker, booing Michael Irvin was a cocaine intervention, Santa was drunk and deserved it..
Look what happens to those whom get unruly, just look at all those civilian self-policing tosses.. Phanatics keeping the order

I do agree that my team has become the Yankees of the NL
Lolwut?
People's hatred for ALL of Philly's sports (not just exclusive to baseball) has been on-going for 30+ years easily and has nothing to do with whether they win or not. Only difference in Phils case now is Philly fans themselves actually don't hate the team.
They ain't the Yankees. Not even close.
Cards, Giants, Dodgers, Reds, Pirates, and Braves ALL have more WS wins than Phils.
Or you can look at this startling reality:
The CUBS (no joke) have the same number of WS victories as the Phils.
Yikes.
You ain't the Yankees of the NL. Win about 3-5 more championships and we'll talk.
Until then, FAP

I was referring to how they've been buying the best talent, calm down. Damn Braves fans!
Posted on 7/30/11 at 2:25 pm to LouisianaSatNight
Oh I'm definitely calm.
Buying up all the talent does not = being a Yanks clone.*
*See the Mets, Dodgers, Cubs, etc.

Damn bandwagon Philly fans.

You wish bud, I remember a few weeks ago when RoarRestored and I got harassed for being bandwagon fans. Get over it.

You Bravetards need to drop all this Bandwagon lingo. The vast majority of Phils fans that post here are a bit older and/or longsuffering Phanatics.
Not that I haven't seen plenty of young LSU students that sport a P cap and probably only know of the recent half-decade's excellence.
I watched the Braves daily on Turner back in the late 1970s and early 1980s as kid, one of the few games to be had on BR cable(WGN also), and rare ways to see a Phils game to boot, until my father later buying a big dish for WPIX, WWOR, KTLA, NESN, YES, etc..games.
Long before most of current MSB Bravetards that fashion themselves diehards, joined the Bravobandwagon, the vast majority coming aboard during the Atl 14 year run as division champs. Which though built mostly from homegrown farm players, was accentuated with trades and signings.
Bandwagon? The vast majority of Braves and Cubs fans that one finds outside their locales, or in La, were created by super networks utilizing early cable television. And were aided by teams using the ratings as reason to spend and develop their franchises. The many MSB/SEC board fans from Bama, Ga,etc..more a natural proxy exception.
The Phillies, as Baloo notes, are the losingest franchise in MLB history, and even since their rise in 1976/1977/1978, with 1980 WS crown, 1983 WS loss, 1993 WS loss, (mostly all built by a supreme farm back then), there have been more dead last place finishes, waves of mediocrity, tigh-@ss ownership that in the past didn't spend according to their former top five major metro demographics would suggest,etc..
Their current run is something to be lauded, not despised. Rival NL fans should applaud that with the Dodgers demise, Atl ramping back up via farm, Cards retooling for next WS run, SF and Sabean's last two-plus decade's excellence. That another NL franchise is making the moves it takes to keep up with NYY & Boston in the 2000s.
