I must have found the single most retardedly formatted bracket for this year in existence. They had the top seeds listed on the same side of the bracket for some reason.

By reseeding, it doesn't allow the team with a bye to focus for two weeks on one or two teams. Conceptually, the 1 seed can play one of four teams.

Ideally you want the #1 seed to play the #2 seed in the conference championship.
