getting rid of Carr was the biggest mistake they've made.

No it wasn't. Hiring RR was. It was time to move on with Carr, and truth is they wanted Miles but he stayed at LSU so they ended up with RR who has made them worse

carr had to go. the program was stale and tOSU had all the momentum. it was time for a change.

as the previous poster said the mistake was bringing in rich rod. i think they dump him after this season and throw mad cash at harbaugh with les as the backup plan.

I'm hoping for a long term contract extension.

if they lose by more than say 40 today I think he's gone. If they beat tOSU though, well he's definitely staying. But a blowout loss today and any kind of loss against the Buckeyes means the end of the Rich Rod era in Michigan.

Enter Les Miles

Miles would actually do quite well at UM. He's a Big 10 coach and has been shown to realize at LSU the importance of defense.

Miles is a great recruiter which is what UM needs at this point and he's a power-I guy that will be flexible.

I am not a Les Miles fan, but he'd be a great fit at UM. His going 9-1 to date with our bad offense and QB issues have actually strengthened his appeal to other programs rather than the opposite. The guy just wins.

that he does.

I once knew a guy that said he'd take luck over talent any day. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes, but he's definitely lucky.

Yep. He can use the defense as a scapegoat (firing Robinson in the process) and promise an even better Offense with Denard having another year of experience.

Yes they'll lose today and at Ohio State but their bowl opponent won't be at either of those team's level. So a possible 8-5 record with the above happenings gets him another year.

You mean "when" they get blasted. Michigan has the worst defense they've ever had. Bucknuts will annihilate them and Rich Rod will be shown the way out.
