Walton and Pasch have been going at each other over Oregon being a tourney team this entire broadcast. Last night Walton had me thinking he had taken a few tabs before the broadcast. I’ll keep those updated as the night goes on

I’d call him cooky, but not an idiot. His basketball IQ is still really high and he’s a different kind of listen

I always find him entertaining to listen to. Him quacking last night was hilarious.

We live in a time where we all (not singling the other poster) call talking heads out for being stupid when the vast majority of the time they know a lot more than us about the subject but we just disagree with what they say.

You didn’t listen to his rant about ‘just let the best teams in’.

What he really means is let all the PAC12 teams in. To be such a basketball savant, I bet he couldn’t tell you anything about Tennessee, LSU, UVA, FSU, etc.

I never said he was a savant (though he played for one) and he is certainly a West coast homer I merely suggest most fans know a lot less about basketball than he does. The Dunning-Kruger effect is probably more evident in sports fans than any other group and I am including myself.

I always find him entertaining but I also find Dick Vitale entertaining as well but I grew up with his announcing.

i think hes great. hes just arguing for the conference he covers. i remember years ago back when the sec was straight poo and jimmy dykes was always talking up all the teams making a case for their tourney selection. and he was dead wrong

also pasch is such a professional for handling that free spirit on live television

Pasch is very underrated as a play by play guy. He does need a vibrant personality alongside him so that’s why I think him and Walton work so well together

That last possession was hideous. Somehow they kept going backwards

There is nothing, and I mean nothing, better than a Pasch-Walton broadcast.

If Washington wins tomorrow, it'll be interesting to see if the committee has the guts to make the Pac-12 a one bid league.

Oregon always balls out in the tourney. Their NET is 56. I think they win tomorrow and are in regardless, but the noise that they should get at-large consideration is valid.

Oregon is favored against the #1 team in the PAC as #6 seed. This conference is shite but Oregon is putting it together late.
