Another MVP Discussion

Lets get this out of the way. Yes, I dislike Harden, yes I am biased towards AD. But I am genuinely curious how you feel about the MVP discussion at this point, after all the votes are in, and on the verge of the NBA finals. Has the performances of the 3 MVP finalists shifted your order of the most valuable at all in your mind?
2017-18 Regular Season:
James Harden
-35.4 MPG, 44.9 FG%, 36.7 3PT%, 85.8 FT%, 5.4 RPG, 8.8 APG, 0.7 blocks, 1.8 steals, 2.3 fouls, 4.4 TOs, 30.4 PPG, 29.87 PER
-advanced: 3.8 DWS, 15.4 WS, .289 WS/48, 1.3 DBPM
-Rockets won 65 regular season games and had the best supporting cast around Harden
Anthony Davis
-36.4 MPG, 53.4 FG%, 34.0 3PT%, 82.8 FT%, 11.1 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.6 blocks, 1.5 steals, 2.1 fouls, 2.2 TOs, 28.1 PPG, 28.98 PER
-advanced: 4.9 DWS, 13.7 WS, .241 WS/48. 2.3 DBPM
-named to first team all defense and finalist for DPOY
-Pelicans won 48 regular season games and had the second best supporting cast amongst these 3
LeBron James
-36.9 MPG, 54.2 FG%, 36.7 3PT%, 73.1 FT%, 8.6 RPG, 9.1 APG, 0.9 blocks, 1.4 steals, 1.7 fouls, 4.2 TOs, 27.5 PPG, 28.65 PER
-advanced: 3.0 DWS, 14.0 WS, .221 WS/48, 2.0 DBPM
-Cavs won 50 regular season games and had the worst supporting around LeBron
2017-18 Post-Season
James Harden
-36.1 MPG, 41.0 FG%, 31.1 3PT%, 89.6 FT%, 5.2 RPG, 6.9 APG, 0.6 blocks, 2.1 steals, 2.8 fouls, 3.8 TOs , 28.4 PPG
-playoff advanced: 0.8 DWS, 2.1 WS, .172 WS/48, 1.5 DBPM
-beat Minnesota 4-1, beat Utah 4-1, tied with GSW 3-3
Anthony Davis
-39.8 MPG, 52.0 FG%, 27.3 3PT%, 82.8 FT%, 13.4 RPG, 1.7 APG, 2.3 blocks, 2.0 steals, 3.3 fouls, 2.6 TOs, 30.1 PPG
-playoff advanced: 0.7 DWS, 1.4 WS, .184 WS/48, 2.8 DBPM
-beat Portland 4-0, lost to GSW 1-4
LeBron James
-40.9 MPG, 54.5 FG%, 34.1 3PT%, 72.6 FT%, 8.9 RPG, 8.8 APG, 1 block, 1.5 steals, 2.2 fouls, 3.9 TOs, 33.9 PPG
-playoff advanced: 0.9 DWS, 4.3 WS, .296 WS/48, 4.0 DBPM
-beat Indiana 4-3, beat Toronto 4-0, tied with Boston 3-3
Objectively, the biggest thing Harden has working for him is the 65 wins during the regular season. LeBron with the cast he's had, has an equally is not more of a case for the MVP. If you count the playoffs and what LBJ has done, I think LeBron is the MVP hands down. What say the board?

I mean, yea, of course. I’d have voted Harden, LeBron, AD at season’s end.

at this point
And Harden led the league in PER on the beat team.
It's really not that hard

this isnt a thread about who will win the MVP. because under the current format, it's hard to vote against Harden
but I'm asking about perception at this point. It seems that Harden hasn't carried his team in the playoffs as much as LeBron has. And neither LeBron nor Harden have the defensive prowess of AD. During the regular season, the 3 MVP finalists have almost an identical PER. So I'm curious if either LeBron or AD have closed the gap in anyone's eyes or even surpassed Harden

Based off of stats, team victory, and all that regular season stuff... It's easily harden.
Playoffs though? It's Lebron. It's always Lebron, that's because he really does take it up a notch.

This isn't AD's year for MVP. He should finish 3rd in voting, which im fine with. He should win DPOY though, but thats another thread.
Im still torn on who should win. I feel like Lebron should win, just to celebrate his greatness and Im not sure we will see another season at his peak like this year. But at the same time regular season harden was lights out. Houston offense was all-time good. Not to mention Harden has finished runner up in MVP for like 3 straight years.

You took a lot of time for nothing

I agree AD is that obvious bronze metalist here. But him being a finalist for DPOY definitely gives him a leg up on catching the other 2.
I admit that deciding between LeBron and Harden is difficult. The stats are very similar, Harden has the overall regular season wins, but LeBron has done much more with less. It's worth discussing because I don't think its as cut-and-dry as the talking heads make it seem
