We finish 27-5 with our 16th shutout today, 2-0 over Hannan… now to wait and see if we’ll host. That would be big for the parish

CORRECTION it was 2-1… still a CHS win over our old rivals formerly from Meraux

That will be Something if Chalmette hosts Slidell in round 1. A little preview of the new district

WM prom was last week. Don’t need it during the playoffs.

We probably won’t… side note, what a weekend for the Green Bridge to be out of commission

I was saying schedules need to be locked, well Slidell had a game against Hanson Memorial lol… the kind of rare weird matchup you’d only see in this situation…

Well they won that and are still #18. So they got Calvary Baptist on REALLY short notice Monday. Meanwhile Sulphur plays Glenmora and East Ascension plays U-High

(Yes, I know, that’s how we got another Chalmette-Fisher matchup last night)

But I’m thinking if two out of Sulphur, East Ascension, and Slidell win Monday, we get jumped and lose our hosting spot. Our season ended today…

I've heard rumblings of some top 5 teams scrambling to add a doubleheader with lower class teams with a lot of wins.

Just checked and it’s true. Sam Houston cancelled their games with Logansport on Monday and added a doubleheader against Non Select 4 Deridder at 17-8. WOW…

Wow what BS. Just to keep them 2? I don’t believe that’s enough to get to 1.

Slidell added Calvary Baptist on short notice lol…

EDIT- I literally went to bed at like 11 last night thinking we weren’t playing Monday and I check and see that we added Episcopal BR to come to Suarez on Monday

was saying schedules need to be locked,
. No because some teams legit had to find opponents because district games got juggle a last weeks weather and some school. Districts don’t allow teams to play when the school is closed.

Exceptions can be made, see the St. Tammany district tournament last week.

I ran the numbers, predicting every game scheduled for tomorrow on the LHSAA website, and if Sulphur, Slidell, and East Ascension all win it doesn’t look good for us even if we win…
