Kotchman definitely isn't Tex, but he's a tough out. I still think he has a lot more in him than he's shown so I wouldn't be surprised if that deal got better for the Braves.

I mean my 'interests' on my profile isnt what it is for nothing.
But Ill say it again, they won't be meaningless at-bats if Tex ends up signing for the Nats and they end up in 3rd behind the Phils and Mets.
And yes, I am sticking with my original call that he ends up with the Nats. Look it up, I called it months ago.

I don't think hes a power guy HC, but he has a solid bat and a good glove. Hes a lot better than plugging in Matt Diaz and who the shite else at 1B. I hated to see that the Braves didn't make a push Juan Rivera btw.

He might be a nice player, but you need more power production out of that spot, especially when you get almost none out of your corner outfielders, and your 3B-er is on the DL 25+ games a year.
