lots of data analysis.
actually ive just been in a ton of college towns and a bunch of bigger to average size cities that colleges are located in. BR falls in the latter group. I thought that was pretty obvious. I didnt think anyone would even dispute that.

Because Baton Rouge is the capital and is not dependent on LSU.

The actual city populations of Madison and Baton Rouge are probably pretty close, actually.
The Baton Rouge metro area is certainly larger than Madison's metro area though.

Madison in the summer is awesome.
I've never been in the winter, but it's probably not as nice.

you've been there so you know...LSU is just a part of BR...UW is Madison.
I was there this past fall when they beat OSU....it was arguably one of the craziest nights of my life.

I wouldn't consider Madison a true college town either. Not in the likes of Boulder, Athens, etc.

I don't doubt that. I thought for sure when LSU beat Florida in 1997 that chicks were gonna be doubling up on dudes left and right in all the bars. It just didn't happen. frick.

I can name some that absolutely suck. Starkville and College Station come to mind.
