i tried explaining to that officer that a handjob is a job too but he wasn't too receptive to it. i'm now banned from loitering on street corners from 10 pm - 5 am.

I love how people dismiss stats and then use different stats to support their argument. Jeter's defensive stats have improved from God awful to almost mediocre this season. Well done.
But forget about stats, WATCH Jeter. It's painful. The guy simply cannot go to his left. If you watched the Yankees every day, you'd think his nickname was "past a diving" Jeter. Just from observation, Jeter is a horrible defensive player.

Oh, and because it shouldn't go without comment:
I love Adam "Not Pac-Man" Jones. I'm a huge O's fan and I'm happy one of our guys won some sort of hardware. But there is no earthly way he deserved a Gold Glove. None. You can root for your team and not have to mindlessly defend unearned honors. Jones is a hell of a player, but he got a friggin gift.
