Yea because no way Peterman wouldn't throw 3 pics against bama..

22/37 - 308 yards - 5 TD - 0 INT

That was Peterman's stat line the last time he played against an elite college team (2016 Clemson). The same Clemson team that beat Bama for the national championship about 2 months later. Obviously a national championship winning Clemson team had a lot more talent on it than an 8-5 Pitt team. Yet Peterman still carved them up. Now you'd be putting Peterman on the side that has a big advantage on talent. His WR's would be better than Bama's DB's. His O-Line would be able to give him all the time in the world. And the Bills would be able to run the ball at will, which opens up the pass game even more. If Bama's defense forced 1 turnover off a tipped ball, they'd be lucky.

Peterman was in the top 10 in the country in passer rating coming out in 2016. Dude is one of the worst QBs in NFL history now.

The NFL and CFB are two entirely different animals.

What did I show. I wanted to see the best match up in college this entire season....that was it.

I have watched 3 college games this year.

OSU vs MN...nursing a hangover
UC vs UCF, had $$ on the game
and the 2nd half of LSU VS AL

No hand, just honesty.

Look at all the rookie QBs and their records..you don't think AL could show Darnold up or Rosen, or Mayfield, etc etc. Those are all pro Qbs, just sub par NFL QBs.

And comparing Peterman to a bunch of crap college teams is not AL.

What ever it was fun.

Now, if this was basketball....no way. Villanova would lose by 50 to the worst NBA team, because it's 5 on 5.

Football is a lot of players vs a lot of players. Just because a guy plays in the NFL doesn't mean he is the best NFL player. It's a bell curve, the bottom of the bell curve is crap, not good Raider, Browns, Jets, AZ, etc. AL is the best of their bell curve and most of those guys will be decent to good NFL players. I mean didn't AL send 11 guys to NFL last year...so by my math that is 20% of a NFL team came from AL and went on to be pros, by more math if they send 10 guys a year over a 4 college program that would be 40 NFL players...a NFL team only has 52 players, so yeah, AL had an 80% NFL team, they have a chance.

Just once I wish they would play to prove me right. AL is beyond gifted, I don't think a lot of you realize how good they really are.

You are delusional. Who has Alabama played that is even 50% of an NFL roster? No one. If you really believe your above statement you don't know shite about football.

Brady could go 0-0 with 0 yards and the Pats win by 60.

As hard as it is to conceive, you do know that the talent jump from college to the Pros is much greater than the talent jump from HS to college, don't you?

Is there a HS team out there that can beat Alabama?

Here's a few words on it. LINK

WEll let's talk about who they have played...let's use the college playoffs, that is your best teams, and they beat most of them.

So AL lost to OSU who had Elliot...he is literally one of the best RBs in the NFL....sorry the bills don't have the 2nd best back in the league. Otherwise no they don't play NFL talent week in and week out, but a large majority of NFL come from the SEC....doesn't AL play in the SEC, so they are pretty familiar with NFL talent.

The jump isn't as big.

There are 100s of Div 1 high school programs (I dunno 500 proll) that get funneled down to 60BCS schools.

60 BCS schools get funneled down to 32 NFL...the jump is not nearly as big.

Football is won in the trenches, since AL and any pro team O and D line is equivilant they have a chance. Great QBs would exploit AL secondary, Josh Rosen, Peterman, Carr, etc etc etc, they don't exploit anything.

Football is won in the trenches. Which is exactly why Peterman would have all the time in the world to sit back and target wide open receivers - if they didn't just choose to run McCoy down their throats. On the other side Tua's going to have to get rid of the ball pretty quick - and he's going to be throwing into coverages that are disguised a whole lot better than what he's seeing in college.

15% of roster(at best) equals a full nfl team? You can't be helped. Keep dreaming.

The worst nfl QB would score at will because his Oline would make the Bama Dline invisible. The worst nfl running back would run for 300 yds because he would be untouched everytime.

What would Bama do on offense? If they got into Fg range it would be a miracle.

In all seriousness though, since this is a hypothetical and all, Gordon/Edelman/Gronk would be virtually uncoverable.

Not only those three, but could you imagine what James White would do to those poor LBs? He'd have them on skates with his route-running ability.
