Is it holding if you're not holding? It looked to me like he just had his hand on him so he knew where he was...kinda like guys in the NBA who keep their hand on the lower back so they know where their man is

That's what I'm wondering. I know a lot of times they can't find their flag or whatever, but he threw that flag well after the play was over, on a foul that happened prior to the pass even being thrown.

Well he let go when Thomas made his cut but like the announcer said if you're running with your hand on his collar it's just asking for the flag.
