The AFC is absolutely brutal this year. A lot of good teams, there could absolutely be 10 win teams not make the playoffs. Here is the playoff picture as of today.

1. Pittsburgh (9-0)
2. Kansas City (8-1)
3. Buffalo (7-3)
4. Indianapolis (6-3)

5. Las Vegas (6-3)
6. Miami (6-3)
7. Baltimore (6-3)
8. Cleveland (6-3)
9. Tennessee (6-3)

This is going to be a crazy finish! Of the 5-9 teams, looking at the remaining schedules, i really like Las Vegas and Cleveland to take the final spots. Crazy that 2 of these teams will be left out while the NFC East will be placing a 5-6 win team in the playoffs.

Gonna be funny when the Browns finally put together a 10 win season and still don't make the playoffs.

Not just once...but twice!! The Browns went (10-6) in 2007 and didn't make the playoffs that year either. I think they would be the only team to EVER accomplish that. I cant think of any other team that has done that? It would be absolutely deflating!

Didn’t New England go 11-5 in 2008? I think it may have been the Cassel year.

Yes, i was referring to the Browns being the first team to go (10-6) and not make the playoffs twice. I just cant remember that ever happening. But i am optimistic about the Browns chances this year. Their schedule sets up nicely!!

It actually has happened before. The Giants in 2010 and 1988. The Pats in 1980 and 2008. The Broncos in 1981 and 1985. And the Redskins have actually missed the playoffs Three times when winning 10 games, 1989, 1985, and 1979.
