Seems like the dude is done with cold weather cities. Indy being the only somewhat exception, but with a dome of course.

He isn't going anywhere short of a kings ransom.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. As great as he is, he plays a position that has become more and more devalued, and he will be 30 years old with a lot of carries and a year off completely.

The Vikings don't hold much leverage with this one unless a bidding war between teams breaks out

Nah it does. Florida has some of the most lenient child abuse laws.

This.

You could even drown your child and then hide the body in the woods and claim on national tv it wasn't you if you wanted to.

Why does this asshat get to decide where he ends up?

I am not really sure of the veracity of any report at this time. I saw this as well, but my dad said that he saw a report that the meeting went well. I am not going to believe anything unless it is picked by Schefter, Rapoport, or the Vikings communications department.

What about Petersons own mouth? He said he still is unsure about coming back to the Vikings after the big guns meeting with Zimmer

That's not definitive but that doesn't sound too good

As far as I can tell he doesn't have a no-trade clause. If I were the Viking I would put out a list of 1 Preferred Trade Target:

- Whoever gives us the most shite for him

The balls of a guy with a year suspension under his belt to put this list out knowing he has no leverage.

He definitely has leverage

He's a hall of fame talent with a huge price tag. If he's malcontent and refuses to take a new contract and Vikings want to get rid of him, he will be next to impossible to trade, so they will cut him and he can sign anywhere

I would trade him to his worst possible fate for a 7th rounder before cutting him.

They hold all the leverage. He is their offense and they will keep him unless someone offers the world. AP isn't going to hold out and miss a $12 Million pay day this year.

I agree with that. I thought there was a 95%+ chance of AD coming back, but I am totally unsure.
