All in the name of tolerance.
This. What an embarrassment.

So please explain to me how I'm a bigot. I have several friends who are gay, attend their gay parties and somehow have a blast without being hit on by a bunch of guys, because believe it or not they can control themselves and don't rape every guy they see.
But they still know I don't agree with gay marriage as those aren't the beliefs I was raised with. We've had discussions on it, civil discussions, and while we remain friends we just agree to disagree on this subject.
Even these actually gay people don't get as offended as you do when someone has separate beliefs than your own.

Again you're missing the larger point

Wanting to deny an entire subsection of people as unfit to be treated equally under the law is not a legitimate belief for which to be tolerant. It must be defeated and eradicated.

I'm trying to get y'all to think outside of your box a little bit. Regardless of whether or not you think homosexuality is a sin we should be striving to live in a world without active prejudice
I totally agree. But your prejudice and hate against anybody who doesn't agree with you is so strong I don't have much faith in this prejudice free world ever existing.

Willing to force your beliefs on a billion Christians is the definition of tolerance.

Isn't this what the entire IRS scandal is about? Entire subsections of tea partyers being denied equal treatment under the law? MUST BE DEFEATED AND ERADICATED, right?

How exactly will equal treatment under the law equate to forcing my beliefs on Christianity?

Strong posts from you in that link. You seem very upset about the scandle.

I am impressed. I wasnt aware you were capable of independant thought but I stand corrected. I hope you're as vocal about those injustices as you are for all the others you perceive.

You don't understand how FORCING Christians to marry people together they don't believe in marrying is forcing your beliefs on them?
Posted on 5/27/13 at 5:31 pm to JG77056
And what happened to that Fox News reporter is horrible as well. The administration has really let me down with this kind of stuff. No place for it whatsoever.

Nobody wants to force anyone to do anything. It's not about religious marriage it about the legal entity known as marriage and all the rights and responsibilities that come along with it.
call it civil unions if it makes you feel better.
