Not Tim, but I do work for the PGA TOUR.

Oh I know, I don't think anyone thinks the PGA TOUR Commissioner posts on TD.
I'm part of the team that monitors the tournaments and make sure the stats are gathered correctly and sent to clients like ESPN and Golf Network.

Unfortunately no, the Majors are in a distinct category. They are not run by the PGA TOUR, only included in the schedule for rankings and stats.

When I worked some tournaments for the networks, mostly CBS everything was pencil & paper. Now, everything is electronics.
Are you using the walking scorers with each group to get your stats?

The walking scorers don't actually do much of the statistics. Not officially anyway. We get some info from them, like where the shot originate (rough, green, fairway, etc). Almost all the stats are gathered by volunteers working the SHOTLink stations at the fairway and green of each hole.

Course looks fantastic! On tv as well as in person. If u have not played desert golf I can see y u may not like the look of it. I'm playing Tuesday morning out here and can't wait! Sitting in the canyon club tent off if 15 right now and will be workin here tonight from 430 till 10 putting carts together for our two shotguns tomorrow

The 2003 Sprint International was the last tournament I worked for CBS. Today, I think they are only using spotters with the groupls that Kostis & Feherty are working.

Being 22 years old, physically no, mentally I would say so. However I think Mahan is applying way more pressure with all of his birdies.
