This is his 10th season in the league and he's only 30. Not a stretch to say he'll be around for the next decade. Imagine his numbers if he didn't play second fiddle to Favre for three years

Or imagine if he didn't get to sit and learn from one of the greatest QBs of all time. He didn't have to go through the same growing pains as some of the other top QBs who had to come in and start in their 1st and 2nd seasons. He didn't have to come and start for a team that had 3 to 5 wins in the previous season like Peyton, Brady, Brees, and Favre. The year before Rodgers took over the Packers were 13-3 and were 4 points away from going to the Super Bowl.

He will be 31 by the end of this season. This is his 10th season in the NFL, but he hasn't even had 6 seasons worth of starts (regular season).

Favre never did much to teach Aaron anything or take him under his wing. They've both essentially said as much. But at the same time, AARod did have the luxury of getting the reps in practice, learning the ways of the organization, and learning the ins and outs of the offense. So definitely lots of benefit in that that is no longer afforded to newly drafted QBs...since a first round QB is now expected to play and produce in year 1.

Both Phillip Rivers and Luck are playing as good or better than Rodgers right now.

Rivers is the MVP this far IMHO

Full season, I'd go with Luck. But I sure like the way Rodgers is trending.

If he could ever have a good, healthy offensive line, damn.

It is pretty amazing what he does out there, especially with how much heat he faces.
