Looking at in terms of the overall picture and goal. The overall goal should be to win titles, not MVPs.

Besides his Super Bowl and last season, Rodgers has been bounced in the WC or 1st round every season.

I think Rodgers is Top 5 but what has he done that Brady hasn't?

Not disagreeing with you. Honestly, I would love Tom Brady on my team. I just really dislike the "Super Bowl rings" argument. There are 22 positions, and a quarterback can only do so much.

Aaron Rodgers career playoff statistics: 101.0 QB Rating, 65.3% PCT, 7.71 Y/A, 23 TDs, 7 INTs.

In 12 career playoff games, there are really only two games you can look at and say, "He didn't look his best." One of those games was in 2010 against the Bears, which the Packers eventually won. The other game was last year against Seattle when he started beautifully and leveled off. Three of his seven playoff interceptions came in those two games.

He's still pretty good when it matters.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I don't know that you should be so dismissive, either. You don't get a TD/INT ratio like Rodgers because the game today benefits you. He is an incredible talent at quarterback; one that does not come around often.

At no point have I dismissed his abilities, but it's too early to call him the GOAT and that title is confounded by rules that do make passing considerably easier. The top 12 QBs are averaging over 250 yds per game in 2014. In 1984 only 3 did that. So either the QB's like Stafford, Tannehill and Rivers are all-time greats or CB's suck these days or the rules have been manipulated to promote passing. Which is most likely?

I completely agree. If couldn't have Brady, he'd easily be my second choice.

You're bringing up volume stats, which no one has brought up.
Look at efficiency stats. No one is arguing that today's QBs have it easier, but you dismiss the passer rating because it has Romo pretty high up....the point I was making is that Rodgers is so far ahead of the pack, no pun intended, that it's ridiculous.
And passer rating isn't end all be all, but all the usual suspects are in the top ten career passer ratings including Joe Montana and Young.
